  I am a Specialist Occupational Health Physiotherapist with an interest in joined up policy development to improve health, safety and wellbeing outcomes in the workplace. I qualified in the UK, developing an early interest in pain science by working in a multidisciplinary program for chronic pain sufferers. After emigrating to South Australia I developed and managed a physiotherapy team working across the South Australian public health sector, providing injury prevention and management support for the workforce. I subsequently moved into a central government role within the state Treasury and Finance Department looking for opportunities to expand similar programs across the whole public sector workforce. I have recently completed my Masters Public Policy and Management with Carnegie Mellon University that has increased my understanding of policy levers to achieve this aim.
