  I am the graduate coordinator for the Department of Exercise and Sport Science. I earned my BA in Human Movement Science from Transylvania University in 1995; my M.Ed in Allied Health from Eastern Kentucky University in 1996; and a Ed.D in Kinesiology and Health Promotion from University of Kentucky in 2000. My professional interests are in integrating more structured activity into the regular classroom. I enjoy teaching sport law and psychology of sport and exercise. My research interests lie within gender issues in leadership roles in sport management; movement in the classroom, core stability in children and psychology of sport. My personal interests are being a mom to the coolest kids around and running half marathons. Less
