Born in Tainan in 1978, now living and working in Tainan, Taichung, and Taoyuan. He holds a Ph.D. in Art from the National Tainan University of the Arts and is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Architecture at Chung Yuan Christian University. He is the principal architect at ArchiBlur Lab | Co-Sense Landscape and Co-Making Place, and has served as a Visiting Professor at the UCSI University Faculty of Architecture and Planning in Malaysia. He has long explored developing another scale of architecture between the body and the landscape, attempting to use the most authentic bodily sensations to repeatedly experience the fundamental values of things, re-examining the role of human constructions, and how they can positively understand and mend the environment instead of being destructively and solely for human use. Through construction, he explores and responds to the coexistence and succession of life, where life's patterns accumulate into different forms of knowledge, acting as a form of repair to oneself, to life, and to the land, making architecture a dialogue about the environment between humans and non-humans. His main creative practices include: the "Edge Landscape" for the 2014 Taipei Fine Arts Museum X-Site Project, the "House Bridge" for the 2015 Setouchi Triennale House Project, "Urban Floating Islands Project," Malaysia's "Oasis Settlement Project," France's "Suspended Mountain·Floating Bridge," Malaysia's "Suspended Mountain," the 2016 Taipei Biennial, the 2017 Saga Biennale "Empathy Collective," the Palestinian Museum's "Borders of Existence," the 2018 Experimental Architecture Project "Negative Gestation Group Settlement: An Experimental Architectural Exploration Starting in the Center of the Taipei Basin," the 2019 Madou Sugar Industry Art Festival as General Curator, the 2020 Chung Yuan Christian University Landscape Transformation Project "Valley of Springs," the 2021 Guguan Hot Spring Museum Renovation "Mist Forest," the 2022 Matsu International Art Island "Listening to the Island's Voice" as Curator, the 2022 Southern Circuit Art Season as General Curator, the 2023 Matsu International Art Island "House Turning Project" as Curator, and the curator for the "Collaboration with the Land" exhibition at the Zhenpin Art Center's 33rd Anniversary... and more.
