Social Anthropology is a global oriented study, which explores the cultural and social diversity of human kind. The goal is to understand variation, connection and change in society and culture. Fieldwork and participant observation are the main methodologies ▪ My bachelor degree consists of the following subjects: Exam Philosophicum (6 months), Methodology in Social Science (6 months), Social Anthropology (12 months), Religious Science (12 months), Middle Eastern History (6 months), and Social Anthropology (6 months) My master thesis built on 6 months of fieldwork in a Norwegian suburb where I studied first- and second-generation Turkish women’s identity: Modern Turks in Norway. “Turkisness” – fundamental and continuing.
