I received a Bachelors of Science in a History and Sociology from Georgia Tech and am currently earning a Masters in Museology from the University of Washington. While in undergrad I worked at the Robert C Williams Museum of Papermaking and began my career path in the museum world. I have worked on exhibition teams at Georgia Tech and designed exhibits on Native American communities in Georgia as well as historical research on Native American communities in Spanish colonies in Texas. After moving to Seattle I worked for a year at the Burke Museum in the Ethnology department. At the Burke I worked with Native American objects and met with many community members in an effort to decolonize the collections. Along with the Native American objects I also worked with objects and communities from around the Pacific Rim.
