He is board certified in Anesthesiology, Pain Management, Internal Medicine and Geriatrics. He also participates as adjunct faculty at the State University of New York at Buffalo (SUNY) Regional Anesthesia workshop for acute pain and workshops for ultrasound guided chronic pain procedures with the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain. He graduated from the University del Valle School of Medicine in Bolivia and did his graduate training at the University of Illinois and at JHS hospital of Cook County.
