I am a Ph.D. candidate at Yale University, doing a joint Ph.D. in Political Science and Religious Studies. My fields of study are Political Theory and Religious Ethics, and most of my work is at the junction between politics and religion. I have particular interest in early modern political and ethical thought, and my dissertation focuses on the idea of natural equality as it is developed by Hobbes, Pufendorf, Locke, and Rousseau. I also work on issues related to liberalism, commerce, freedom, human rights, religious freedom, and virtue ethics.
Prior to beginning my doctoral studies, I studied at Tufts University, Oxford University, Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, and Georgetown University.
