My Paintings engage the issue of interiority and thus Place. I have exhibited widely in the US including the Witney Museum, Carnegie Institute, The Queens Museum of Art and the New Museum of Art. I have taught at Princeton University, Pratt Institute of Art, Williams College in studio courses at undergraduate and Graduate level. My Essay "Painting into a Corner : Representation as Shelter" was published in 2002 by Continuum Press/ London and Wesleyan Press/US in "The Vitality of Objects : Exploring the Work of Christopher Bollas, edited by Joseph Scalia. The place of the subject the construction of subjectivity are pervasive in my work and this writing.
