G. Muge Kanatlar graduated from Anadolu University, Faculty of Education, ELT Department, Turkiye (Turkey) in 1991. After she received her MA TEFL degree at Bilkent University in 1995, she started the ELT doctorate program at Anadolu University and finished it in 2004. She has been teaching English at Anadolu University, School of Foreign Languages since 1999. She had taught EFL at various departments of Anadolu University (the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture and the College of Tourism and Hotel Management) beforehand. Her research areas are learner-based issues, applied linguistics and assessment while her special interests are human psychology and traveling.
