Gilbertto Prado is a multimedia artist and professor at the Postgraduated Program at Anhembi Morumbi University. He is also the coordinator of the Group Poéticas Digitais. He studied Engineering and Visual Arts at the State University of Campinas and in 1994 he obtained his PhD in Arts at the University of Paris I - Sorbonne. He has participated in several art exhibitions in Brazil and abroad. Among his prizes, one can mention 9º Prix Möbius International des Multimédias, Beijing (2001) and 6º Prêmio Sergio Motta de Arte e Tecnologia (2006). Published in 2003 at Itaú Cultural, SP, the book: Arte Telemática. He works with art in networks and interactive installations.
