  Ghizlane Laghzaoui holds a PhD in Francophone literatures (France) and an EdD in Educational Leadership (SFU). Her research focus is on immigrant teachers identity construction and Francophonie in minority settings. She is involved in the work of various communities as a board member of Francophone Federation of BC, president of Francophone Faculty members of BC Association and as a member of the Abbotsford Local Immigration Partnership. She currently teaches at the University of the Fraser Valley and is the co-chair of Race and Anti-Racism Network.
