  Gerardo Sanchez-Schmitz is Professor in the Department of Industrial Engineering at the Universidad de Sonora. He is Ph.D. candidate in Information Technologies and Communications in the Universidad de Murcia, Spain. He obtained an M.Sc. degree in Industrial Engineering Sciences from Instituto Tecnologico de Hermosillo and a B.S. degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the Universidad de Sonora, both in Mexico.
