She completed her M.Sc in Marketing and Marketing Research (İstanbul Univeristy), her Ph.D in Journalism (Ege University- 1994).
She has got her Associate Prof. (1999) and full Professor (2005) degrees in Advertising and Public Relations.
Prof. Dr. Fusun Topsümer who has been working in Ege University Faculty of Communications is also the head of Communication Research Metodologies Branch and has served in many managerial posts in her University.
