    The African Informal Economy:Currently for most countries in sub-Saharan Africa, it is the informal sector that is the real engine of growth. During the last twenty years, the African Union has particularly focused on the question of whether the informal sector should be marginalized, survival sector, which has a vibrant entrepreneurial share of the economy which can stimulate economic growth and job creation. Compared to other sectors of the African continent, the informal sector accounts for the largest share, particularly in the field of manufacturing, trade, finance and mining.
