Francine is a lecturer in People Management and Programme Leader for the MSc. Human Resource Management and Development programme at Salford Business School, University of Salford, Manchester, UK. She has experience in the insurance industry and within the retail sector. Francine completed her PhD in Business and Management at the University of Manchester. This research explored age diversity in large UK organisations in the public and private sectors. She also has an Masters degree in Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations from Manchester Business School, a BA(Hons) in Business Management and a Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education. She is currently a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and an Academic Member of the CIPD as well as an External Quality Assessor for CIPD UK. She is a member of the Research Advisory Group for Women in Sport, UK and a member of the Diversity Committee, Chartered Association of Business Schools, UK. Francine is also an Associate Member of the Work and Equalities Institute, Alliance Manchester Business School, UK.
