A primary focus of Dr. Kwa's Lecturer role has been to deliver a transformative learning experience by designing classes that engage them in active learning and to develop the into life-long learners. She has been a co-investigator of multiple internal teaching grants and recipient of learning and teaching awards. Dr. Kwa's diverse and extensive learning and teaching experience has provided her with great insights in to the challenges and dynamics of teaching multi-disciplinary cohorts of undergraduate and postgraduate students.
