  I hold a doctorate in English from the University of Tennessee (USA). I have taught Composition, World Literature, Creative Writing, Women's Literature, and Minority Literatures (American Indian, African-American, Hispanic, Holocaust) for thirty three years, eighteen years at Concord University, a liberal arts university. I have decades of study in comparative theology, including some study at Chandler and Drew Universities. I am also a writer and publisher, with five books and many articles, poems, and short works to my credit. My last endeavor was as managing editor of an anthology, Appalachia's Last Stand, which can be viewed at Amazon.com and Barnes and Noble, as well as on my website: www.walkfreepress.com. In addition, I have spoken and conducted workshops on various subjects, especially writing and survival.
