Eva A Sprecher completed her undergraduate degree in Experimental Psychology at the University of Oxford, Jesus College, before training as a secondary school science teahcer on the Teach First Programme. After two years teaching as a Physics specialist teacher in London she returned to psychology to work to develop a better understanding of how the most vulnerable pupils and their families or carers can best be supported. Eva completed her MSc in Developmental Psychology and Clincal Practice at the Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families (University College London) in 2018. She is now working towards her PhD at UCL while working at the Anna Freud Centre on the Reflective Fostering Programme, a group-based intervention supporting foster carers to develop strong and supportive relationships with the children in their care. Eva also sits on the advisory board of a UK-based innovative social pedagogy informed residential home for young people in the care system.
