My art practice uses muli-sited transnational methods of collaborative design to study the language of empire in material culture. In my recent work, I use data taken from video cameras and radio transmitters launched aboard my weather balloon to seventy-eight thousand feet above sea level to create Nano-sized sculptures on circulating US currency by electron beam physical vapor depostition. I typically work with artists, scientists, and lawyers in a fast paced praxis of call and resonse. My current research project is titled 'Escape is Not An Option At This Point.' My research has been published or presented at Arizona State University, New York University, School of Visual Arts, Zayed University, University of New England Armidale, University of New Mexico and the New Mexico State Capitol. My work can be found in the collections of the University of Iowa and the Nevada Museum of Art. I have completed artist residencies at the Millay Colony for the Arts, the Ox-Bow School of Arts, and the Studios at MASS MoCA.
