Eric Kong is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Management & Marketing, University of Southern Queensland, Australia. He completed his Ph.D. in Strategic Management at Monash University, Australia. His current research interests include intellectual capital, knowledge management, non-profit management and strategic management. He has published over 45 publications, including international refereed journal articles, refereed conference papers, scholarly research book and book chapter. He is a winner of a Highly Commended Award at the Emerald Literati Network in 2011 for an article he published in the Journal of Intellectual Capital. Eric was an Executive Committee member of Public and Non-profit Division (PNP) for the Academy of Management (AOM) conference from 2007 to 2010. He was nominated as the Chair of the Best Paper Award for Public and Non-profit Division at the Academy of Management (AOM) Conference in 2008 and 2010. He served as Guest Editor of Special Issue of Journal of Intellectual Capital on ‘Intellectual Capital and Non-profit Organisations in the Knowledge Economy’. He is currently serving as an Editorial Board member of the International Journal of Organisational Theory and Behaviour (IJOTB) and a Committee Member of the 2011 International Conference on Intellectual Capital, Knowledge Management & Organisational Learning (ICICKM).
