  Elena González-Blanco was born in Murcia (Spain) in 1981. She moved to Madrid to study Spanish Philology (Graduated in 2004) and Classics (Graduated in 2005) at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. After that she worked in the CSIC (Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas). She has recently moved to Harvard to work on her Dissertation about the origins and parallels between the Cuaderna Via poetry and its counterparts in French and Italian Medieval literature.
