She is currently pursuing doctoral research in the University of Sheffield, UK, in the area of Higher Education. Currently, a Computing Lecturer at the National College of Ireland, Dublin, she has taught a range of informatics courses and also holds responsibility as Programme Director. She has been involved in the supervision of both undergraduate and postgraduate projects in both software systems and e-learning. Her areas of research specialisation are Learning Styles, digital educational repositories, and IT as applied to education.
