Gung Ho is a 1986 movie directed by Ron Howard that depicts an American automobile plant foreman, Hunt Stevenson (played by Michael Keaton), attempting to work together with his Japanese counterpart, Takahara Kazuhiro (Gedde Watanbe), to reopen the plant and make it successful. Faced with cultural differences and a work force with questionable attitudes toward work ethic and quality control, Stevenson and Kazuhiro find the mission a challenging one.
