  I have a clinical background in social work, having practised for a twelve year period before moving to senior management in HR and Corporate Support for a large government agency. I taught for eight years at the University of Newcastle in undergraduate social work. Currently I work in an Academic Research Manager role in Medicine and Public Health. I also undertake sessional academic teaching at University of Sydney. I am a part of a consultancy partnership working and am also involved in a disaster research project.
