...MoreDr. Drene Somasundram currently is employed at Avondale, College of Higher Education as a Chaplain and Lecturer in the interdisciplinary Faculty of Arts, Nursing and Theology. She comes with a wealth of Pastoral experience and has been an educator at Avondale teaching both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Drene was awarded the 'Ken Goulding’ prize for excellence of thesis in 2007 at Middlesex University in England. Drene is passionate about teaching, gender issues and international development.
