Diane Cooper is Professor of College Student Affairs Administration and Department Head and in the Department of Counseling and Human Development Services at The University of Georgia. She has directed over 75 dissertations and serves as the UGA College of Education Distinguished Research Mentor. Dr. Cooper served for 6 years as the Editor for the College Student Affairs Journal and on the editorial board for the Journal of College Student Development. She is the co-author of numerous books and journal articles and has been recognized for her work through ACPA, SACSA, NASPA III, and ASCA, Her research interests are in multiple identity development, program design and assessment, legal and ethical issues in student affairs practice, and in professional issues related to underrepresented groups in higher education.
