  I am currently conducting research into climate change policy and politics in the Australian context at the Australian National University. My background is in both teaching and research. For several years I taught Science, Mathematics, and IT to secondary and tertiary students. And I have recently been teaching an Environmental Policy course at ANU. Prior to this, I spent some years as an analyst in the Australian federal public service, researching and analysing issues pertaining to security. I hold an honours degree in Agricultural Science from Sydney University and a Masters degree in International Relations from the University of Leicester. I am interested in policy-makers perception of climate change as a security threat and the way in which media coverage, public opinion, and policy making interact. Less
