She teaches in the Doctor of Education and Master of Education (Public Education) programs. Her research interests include the sociology of literacy and the role of new copyrights and the creative commons in education. Her most recent book is “Global knowledge cultures” (2007, co-edited with Michael A Peters, UIUC).
