Dr Chantal Ramcharan-Kotze is a strategic partnership specialist. She has spent the last decade working in the field of sustainable development across financial services, mining, biodiversity and most recently water sectors in South Africa. Her doctoral research aimed at understanding Value Creation and Capture through Public-Private Collaboration Processes. She has contributed towards research and publications linked to sustainability transitions, innovation and partnerships and she currently drives a research thrust within the South African Water Research Commission supporting strategic implementation and hybrid model development for transitioning economies. She is a recipient of the African Leadership Award - Green Futures 2017 and an Ajudication Panel member of the South African National Science and Technology Forum (NSTF) Annual Awards. Chantal is the SDG 6 National Team Leader - Research and Innovation and a member of the Team of Experts (TOE) for a South African Inter-Ministerial Committee on Mining and Sustainability.
