Author has taught and researched legal philosophy, medieval philosophy and metaphysics at Concordia University since 1967. Author was graduated with the B.A. in 1962 by St Bonaventure University; M.A. and Ph.D. in 1965 and 1970 by The Catholic University of America; B.C.L. and LL.B. in 1978 and 1979 by McGill University Law School. Author has written, edited or translated Philosophical Reflections on the U.S.Constitution (Mellen 1988); The Philosophy of Law: An Encyclopedia (Garland 1999), 2 vols.; Philosophy of Man at Recreation and Leisure (Lang 2007); The Methodology of Maurice Hauriou: Legal, Sociological, Philosophical (Rodopi 2010); Democracy Where and Where Not: An Institutional Study (Rosedog 2010); Tradition in Social Science (Rodopi 2011).
