Dr Morgner’ research interests include social and cultural theory, global studies of the ats and space and artistic practice. More recently he has published articles on culture, art and urban space in Latin-America, the global art world and has presented a paper on world art cities at a conference in Yokohama. He has previously held positions and visiting fellowships at the University of Cambridge, Yale University, and the École des hautes études en sciences sociales (Paris). Currently, he works on projects about the globalisation of the arts, artistic practice, artworks as networks and climate change in fictional accounts (film).
