Chlotia P. Garrison is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Winthrop University. She received her bachelor’s (with highest honors) and master’s degrees in Mathematics from the University of Southern Mississippi, and doctorate in Computer and Information Sciences from Florida State University. She was employed for twenty years in the software field. Her prior positions include lead software practitioner, project manager, analyst, and 1st and 2nd level supervisor to software engineers, mathematicians, and electrical and computer engineers. Her teaching specialty is software engineering, including design and architecture and developing solid software. Her research interests include software engineering education, new faculty issues and computer security from the user perspective.
