Muammad Ashraf Malik earned Master Degrees in three sub-sectors of Social Sciences: Education, Economics and Sociology from different universities Pakistan. He is attached as PhD Scholar with the Department of Education, The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Pakistan since January 2005. His major area of research is “Planning of Basic Education in Pakistan”. He has 17 years teaching as well as management experience at secondary/elementary schools level and more than five years experience as researcher at university level. He was awarded Indigenous Fellowship by Higher Education Commission Pakistan in 2005. He honored by China Classroom Award in 2006 by Minister of Culture, China. The Higher Education Commission Pakistan awarded him indigenous fellowship for PhD in year 2005. He is also Wood-badge Award holder of Pakistan Boys Scouts Association. He has visited Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Japan,China, South Korea, India, Iran, Thailand, Hong Kong,and Malaysia. He has presented research paper in National Conference at Punjab University, Lahore, Pakistan, in March 2007, another paper in ICIT-2008 at Izmir, Turkey in April 2008, one research paper in ICSA-2008 at Hokkaido University, Sapporo, Japan on July 2-6, 2008, a paper in ISCIS 2008, July 9-10, 2008 at Kuala Kangsar , Malaysia and a research paper in ISQSEFA-2009 during March 5-7, 2009 at New Delhi, India. Recently he has presented a paper in International Conference on Primary Education at Hong Kong Institute of Education during November 25-27, 2009.
He has worked in Projects with: UNESCO, SACM, GTZ, TVO, NEF, SAHE, PBM & Ministry of Education, Pakistan.
