Chae Ho Lee teaches graphic design at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa. His work spans advertising, exhibition, identity, publication and web design. He has worked for a number of prestigious advertising agencies and design studios in the Pacific rim, New York city and Dubai. His clients have included the leading cultural institutions in the United States. He was the design director for the Asia Society, an international NGO that promotes knowledge, dialogue and development in the fields of Asian policy, business, education, arts, and culture. He has lived in the middle east for over 6 years teaching at several leading academic institutions in the region. He has exhibited his work internationally and presented at a number of international conferences. He received his M.F.A. with honors from the Rhode Island School of Design in 1999. He is currently working on a number of writing and multi-media installations as well as consulting on several online projects.
