...MoreMy focus of Research (Forskning): Issues of technology, trust and work is a main theme in my research. I did my PhD.-thesis 2003 about how the some Swedish unions have dealt with the IT-development over time(The title is: The union, Information Technolgy and Politics – Strategies and Frames within the Swedish TUC 1976-1996). At the moment I am having a project about security culture and the framing of security within working life. A main focus is upon the issue of security/threats and how it is associated with trust and different ways of organising work. A trust theme is also present in a study concerning Internet communication between citizens and officials in a municipality in the region of Sjuhärad/Sweden. Still another study deals with the challenges that are associated with joint knowledge production (some times referred to as Mode 2) including both the academia and the working life. This last project is part of an analysis about new interactive knowledge production and its conditions. This is also the focus in the paper that I would like to present at the Granada conference.
