Baiding Hu is a Senior Lecturer in Economics within the Department of Accounting, Economics and Finance at Lincoln University, New Zealand. He joined Lincoln University in 2006, having previously held lecturing positions at La Trobe University and Macquarie University in Australia. He has professional experience as an economist for the National Institute of Economics and Industry Research, a Melbourne based private consulting firm, where he was involved in providing forecasts of sectoral energy consumption for both the public and private sectors. His research interests include business education and programmes, productivity and efficiency estimation, Chinese economy and energy economics.
