...MoreAyse Senturer is a Professor of Architectural Design at the Istanbul Technical University (ITU) Faculty of Architecture. Studied at the Istanbul Technical University and obtained the degrees of B. Arch, M. Arch., and Ph. D.from that establisment. Lectures at the ITU Faculty of Architecture since 1985. Researched and/or thought at the University of Cincinnati-DAAP, Harvard University-GSD, Eastern Mediterranean University-Faculty of Architecture, Architectural Association School of Architecture, Brandenburg Technical University-Cottbus, Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology University-Department of Architecture and Design, Chinese University of Honk Kong-School of Architecture and Design. Authored and co-edited several books (Aesthetic Phenomenon in Architecture, Architecture and Philosophy, Ethics and Aesthetics, City Atelier - Istanbul 2002, Critical Approach -in architecture, aesthetics, design and studio). Currently teaches undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate programs, and writes about "architectural design, urban design, aesthetics, representation, critical approach and education."
