Augustina current graduated from the University of Utah College of Social Work in Salt Lake City, where she pursued a Ph.D. degree. In 2004, with scholarship from Ford Foundation International Fellowships Program, she obtained a master’s degree in Social Service Administration from the University of Chicago. Dr. Naami has written five scholarly manuscripts: four are in press, one accepted with minor revisions, and another under review. Also, she has presented her research in several conferences in the United States. Some of these conferences include Pacific Rim Conference, Honolulu, Hawaii-2007 and the Society for Disabilities Studies Conference, Baruch University, New York-2007.
