Antonella Mazzeo is an architect and a PhD student in Architectural Technology at the Faculty of Architecture in Reggio Calabria, Italy.
She has been teaching and researching since 2003 in Reggio Calabria under the supervision of Rosario Giuffrè. Her teaching and research have been focused on energy efficiency in building with emphasis on the relationship between energy, building technology and configurations of spaces in architecture.
She was Visiting Scholar at Harvard University in 2002 and she is currently Visitor Research at the College of Environmental Design, UC Berkeley, supervised by Prof. Susan Ubbbelohde. .
Current research activity includes energy efficiency, comfort and architecture (Le Corbusier, Kahn, Herzog: culture and practice).
Has published on topics related to different forms of energy, such as acoustic, lighting, and photovoltaics.
