I'm a scholar of poetry and avant-garde culture with a strong interest in intermedial transfer, which includes exploring links between literature (the verbal art) and the visual arts. I hold both B.A. and M.A. degrees from my alma mater, Moscow State University, in Russia. Apart from that, I am a Fulbright scholar (M.A. student) at the University of Georgia, USA, where I am currently working on a degree in Comparative Literature. Besides, while studyng in the US, I am pursuing a joint-thesis project at Moscow State University where I was promoted to the position of a post-graduate (PhD) student.
I started my academic career as a scholar of American literature and worked with the poetry of Walt Whitman. Later on I transitioned to Wallace Stevens and discovered a vibrant and intriguing field of avant-garde poetry and small coterie publications, which predisposed me towards studying not only texts, but their media condition. As of now, I'm taking advantage of my standpoint as an biliungual researcher, and trying to incorporate the Russian material into my studies in the field of American avant-garde.
The list of my works and publications, as well as the link to my CV and departmental web-page (in Russian), is available at academia.edu: https://moscowstate.academia.edu/%D0%90%D0%BD%D1%8F%D0%A8%D0%B2%D0%B5%D1%86
