  I finished my PhD in sociology at the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona. In 2005 I published my book 'Negociating Risk' looking at the management of risks in times of social and technological change. I am currently the senior researcher in the research programme NEGRISC, which forms part of the Inter-university Research Centre (UOC-IN3/UAB-EPSI).
