  I have a Bachelors in Nursing from Illinios Weselyan University and a Master in Public Health Leadership Nursing from the University of Virginia. My background is 25 years of clinical obstetrics and public health nursing. I have five years of experience as adjunct faculty for a bachelors of nursing program and am currently a Clinical Associate/Director of Academic Programs at the University of Illinois College of Medicine. I teach primarily with the Health, Illness, and Society theme for the medical school. I also manage the rural and community clinic program for the medical students, along with community outreach.
