  Ana Baptista holds a Master degree by the University of Aveiro (Portugal) in Educational Sciences on non-traditional adult students in Higher Education (HE). Between 2009 and 2013, she has conducted her PhD at the Research Centre Didactics and Technology in Education of Trainers, within the same institution. She finished her PhD in Didactics and Training in May 2013, with distinction and honours, on the topic: Quality of Doctoral Research Supervision - Design of a framework to evaluate and monitor the process. At the moment, Ana is a Research Fellow at the University of Aveiro on a project about non-traditional students in HE: mature students’ employability, and students with special needs. Ana is simultaneously designing and delivering CPD modules and workshops directed to HE teaching staff, where, among other pedagogical strategies, she is working the themes linking teaching and research and undergraduate research.
