Ana Maria Correia is Assistant Professor and Dean of the Faculty of Psychology and Education at the University of Saint Joseph, Macau. She joined the University of Saint Joseph in 2010 after completion of her doctoral degree. Her research focuses primarily on gender and cultural issues in education. At University of Saint Joseph she has been lecturing in under-graduate and graduate courses in the areas of Psychology, Education and Social Work. For the last three years she has been developing and coordinating the Post-Graduate Diploma in Education at USJ and the Bachelor in Education.
Although most of her publications are in the area of educational studies, Professor Correia also includes colonial, post-colonial studies and literary criticism in her list of research interests.
