Dr. Ahmed Elseragy is a Professor of Sustainable Architecture and Urbanism. He holds the position of Deputy Director of IPRC the International Projects and Research Centre at the Arab Academy for Science and Technology in Egypt since March 2016. Ahmed is an International Development and Culture Exchange Entrepreneur and Managing Director of IBEX - International British Exchange for Knowledge and Culture Partnerships in the UK. In 2014 he became the Vice President of the EBEA, Egyptian British Eduction Asscoiation in London. He also has taught in number of architecture schools in the UK including Nottingham, Lincoln and Salford, the where he holds a visiting professor post at the moment. Dr. Elseragy's research interests are diverse but are related by a consistent concern with cultural, sustainable and environmental related issues in the built environment in the Middle East. He has widely published on sustainable development, traditional architecture, passive buildings and techniques, computational modeling of environmental performance, experimental physical models, architectural identity and heritage, curriculum development and architectural education and internationalisation in higher education. Ahmed was the Director of Lincoln Architecture Summer School at the University of Lincoln - UK between 2011/2016. He is a professional architect with a PhD Degree in Environmental Design and Sustainability in Buildings from the University of Nottingham, UK. Between 2009-2012 he held the post of Dean of International Network and Affairs and Director of London International Office, at Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport AASTMT, London, UK.
