  Agniet van de Sande (1959) is Deputy Director and head of the communication division of Museum Volkenkunde. She was projectmanager of the redesigning of the museum in the period 1996-2001. She studied art History at the university of Utrecht. And had additional schooling in management and marketing; in 2003 she participated in the leadership course (MMI) of the Getty foundation.
