I work for National Health Service/England and I am also a visiting research fellow at Sheffield Hallam Univeristy. I am a medical anthropologist (PHD) and sociologist (MA) from American University -Washington DC.
I am a lead project researcher for a National Institute of Health and Research/UK funded project in conjuction with Sheffield Hallam University. The project I am working on is qualitative and looks at barriers that limit older people from keeping warm in winter. The intent is to come up with social marketing tools that will help the elderly and ultimately reduce mortality rates in England that is related to cold houses in winter. I have taught in the USA, worked as a social development specialists and public health research in Africa and USA.
