Angelo Presenza Joins the Tourism and Leisure Studies Advisory Board

The Tourism & Leisure Studies Advisory Board is honored to welcome our newest member – Angelo Presenza.

Angelo Presenza (PhD) is Assistant Professor of Management at the Department of Economics and at the Tourism Research Centre, University of Molise (Italy). He is also Associate Researcher at the Institute for Service Industry Research (IRISS) of the Italian Research Council. He has several collaborations with national and international universities for research and teaching activities, and he has actively participated in European projects as coordinator and member of project teams. He also has collaboration with local governments on several topics such as tourism planning and tourism certifications. The main research areas of interest are as follows: destination governance and management, event management, gastronomy and food. He is also interested in innovation and creativity management as well as entrepreneurship and Small and Medium Enterprises. Some of the main recent researches focused on stakeholder’s e-involvement and participatory tourism planning, entrepreneurial strategies in leveraging food as a tourist resource, and planning tourism through events.
