The didactic pedagogy although may be considered old and ancient played a significant role in teaching and learning in past times. But there came a time when this method of learning could no longer be depended upon hence, the introduction of the authentic pedagogy. Authentic pedagogy enables students to think, discover, discuss, and logically build concepts relevant to the subject.

Sometimes incorporating didactic and authentic pedagogy in a teaching approach can be useful, coherent, and more valuable to learners. But also very essential in this modern age is to allow for the application of technology to facilitate learning. It then becomes easier for teachers to have a one-one interaction with students, understand their different learning strenght and actively work with them to help them learn.
