What is the Transformative Learning Theory?

To be a successful individual, you have to learn things and understand different way in learning. In this changing world, teachers and students are greatly benefitted from each other on how learning works. Educators give their efforts and create a classroom for learners to understand learning.

The transformative learning is one theory of learning, particularly focuses on adult education and young adult learning. It is sometimes called transformation learning, and focuses on the idea that learners can adjust their thinking based on new information. I want to mentioned Jack Mezirow who studied about this theory of transformational learning. He mentioned about an adult women who went back to school, that this adult women don't apply their old understanding to new situation, instead they find they need to look at new understanding of things as they change.
